Ron is Co-Founder & Principal of Business Rule Solutions, LLC (BRS) where he actively consults. BRS specializes in business rules, decision engineering, concept modeling, business analysis, and business knowledge engineering. Ron is creator of RuleSpeak®.
Ron is Chair of the Building Business Capability (BBC) conference, the official conference of the IIBA. Ron has also served as Chair of the Business Rules & Decisions Forum conference since 1997, now part of the BBC.
Ron is co-author of The Business Agility Manifesto (BusAgilityManifesto.org) with John A. Zachman and Roger T. Burlton (2017).
Ron's 40+ year career has consistently featured innovative, business-driven solutions. He is recognized internationally as the 'father of business rules.' He is the author of 10 professional books including the groundbreaking first book on business rules in 1994. His newest:
