How the ICMG Advisory Group Operates—and Why It Matters

Updated: 1 day ago

No Slogans. No Selling. No Slack Talk. Just Strategy That Works.

Welcome to a different kind of advisory group.

Not another community. Not another panel. And certainly not another content feed.

The ICMG Advisory Group (User Group) is a curated space for those who’ve seen enough to know that transformation isn’t driven by frameworks—it’s guided by structure.

What brings us together is a shared belief:

Real enterprise success is not about having more ideas—it’s about seeing how things fit, how they break, and how they evolve.

This group isn’t about activity. It’s about clarity.

Not about networking. But about shared insight.

Not about titles. But about contribution.

These ten principles guide how we work together:

1. Focus on Systemic Insight, Not Framework Fandom

This isn’t the place to endorse toolkits or debate certifications. We look beneath frameworks to understand where they hold—and where they fall apart.

We think in enterprise logic, not templates. If something failed, we ask: what was structurally missing?

2. Anchor Everything in Enterprise Anatomy

All contributions are expected to relate to one or more of the six foundational perspectives:

  • Strategy

  • Process

  • System

  • Component

  • Implementation

  • Operations

This is the grammar that holds every enterprise together. If a post doesn’t connect to one of these, it may need to be reframed.

3. No Selling. No Signaling. No Slogans.

This group is not a stage. It’s a workspace of equals.

No tool promotion. No coaching pipelines. No vague inspiration threads.

We’re not building thought leadership here. We’re refining enterprise reasoning.

4. Respect Confidentiality and Context

Much of what’s shared here draws on real programs and transformation efforts.

We trust members to handle that responsibility with care:

  • Never quote or share posts externally.

  • Always anonymize enterprise details unless permission is given.

This is what allows us to speak plainly—and think deeply.

5. Bring Clarity. Challenge Structure. Not Just Opinions.

This group is designed to move beyond perspective-swapping. We welcome challenge—but expect it to be structured.

If you disagree, bring a counter-model.

If something feels vague, offer a clearer frame.

If you say, “It depends,” also explain what it depends on—and how structure changes the outcome.

6. This Is a Living Lab, Not a Passive Feed

We don’t expect daily posts. We do expect meaningful participation.

Once every 30 days—ask a question, offer a pattern, react to a case.

Dormant profiles aren’t removed—but they may be archived to preserve clarity.

7. One Enterprise. One Anatomy.

At ICMG, we operate on a principle that holds across industries, sizes, and geographies:

An enterprise is not a collection of departments. It is an integrated anatomy.

We expect contributions that align with this view. If your thinking connects functions, execution, and direction—you’re aligned. If it isolates them, we’ll help you reconnect the pieces.

8. Moderated for Signal, Not Status

This group is curated—not to control—but to protect what matters: Depth, clarity, and meaningful engagement.

Posts may be:

  • Retitled for sharper focus

  • Rerouted to a more relevant space

  • Paused if they dilute the group’s purpose

We don’t count likes. We consider the value of the model you share.

9. Contribution Opens Doors

This is not just a place to observe. It’s a gateway to shaping ICMG’s live work around the world.

Members who engage with clarity may be invited to:

  • Co-author ICMG blogs or frameworks

  • Join regional or industry-specific Think Tanks

  • Serve as Jury members in the global Ratings Program

Your insights don’t stay in a thread—they help define the future of enterprise transformation.

10. Education-Only Access to Models

As a member, you are granted access to:

This access is strictly for educational and awareness-building use within the Advisory Group.

Any commercial use—such as consulting, delivery, or productization—requires a separate license.→ View Licensing Options →

We designed this group with one purpose: To bring together those who understand that structure precedes success.

We’re here to think together, question respectfully, and refine how enterprises are understood—not by popularity, but by precision.

If you’re here to contribute—not just comment—To build what’s lasting—not what’s trending—Then welcome.

We’re honored to think alongside you.

Let’s begin.
