1. How This Pattern Emerged
Over the last three years, ICMG has reviewed transformation portfolios inside major media houses — from global broadcasters to regional OTT platforms and cinema chains.
These organizations ran programs in OTT streaming platforms, ad-tech engines, rights management, newsroom automation, ticketing, CRM, analytics, and cybersecurity. Some had 500+ engineers assigned to “digital media” programs. Others ran hybrid vendor/in-house delivery across multiple content verticals.
But across every division, one pattern held true:
Projects were delivered. Systems were modernized. But the enterprise was never modeled structurally.
